Hand Woven Ikat Runner 3
Found by walking through a village and being welcomed into an aunties home these ikat fabrics are woven entirely by hand in a small village in Northeast Bali, each ikat runner is the work of a single master weaver—an auntie we met and worked with directly. Using traditional looms and age-old techniques as well as ALL NATURAL DYES, she weaves each piece slowly and with intention, creating textiles that carry both beauty and cultural legacy.
Ikat is a sacred and increasingly rare art form, requiring patience, skill, and deep knowledge passed through generations. Subtle variations in pattern, tone, and texture are not imperfections, but signatures of the hand that made them. Designed primarily as runners, these textiles also layer beautifully as table accents, wall hangings, or draped styling pieces.
By welcoming one into your home, you are supporting the preservation of a dying craft and the livelihood of the artisan who keeps it alive—thread by thread.
