Regenerative Cotton

In the world of fashion, not all cotton is created equal—and neither are the hands that bring it to life.
Our journey led us to the sun-drenched fields of Peru, where cotton isn’t just a commodity; it’s a tradition. Here, we work alongside B-Corp certified factories that go beyond sustainability—they regenerate. From the soil they nurture to the artisans they empower, their mission is clear: to create clothing that honors both people and planet.
Regenerative Cotton: Healing the Earth as It Grows
Regenerative cotton starts long before the loom. It begins in soil that's alive—with microbes, with moisture, with possibility. Unlike conventional cotton, which is often grown with pesticides and depletes the land, regenerative farming restores soil health, increases biodiversity, and draws carbon out of the atmosphere.
The cotton we use in our found. tee-shirt colleciton is grown in small batches, hand-harvested, and free from synthetic chemicals. It’s softer, purer, and richer in story.
Working with a Peruvian B-Corp factory means we know where our cotton comes from, how it’s grown, and who turns it into fabric. We visit the farms. We meet the makers. We hear the stories—and we carry those stories forward in the collection we create.
Fast Fashion: The Hidden Costs Behind Cheap Clothes
By contrast, mass-produced fast fashion factories—often operating far from transparency—prioritize volume over values. Clothes are churned out in vast quantities under fluorescent lights, stitched by underpaid workers, and dyed with chemicals that pollute rivers and communities.
Fast fashion may be fast, but it’s also fleeting. The environmental cost is staggering—20% of global wastewater comes from textile dyeing, and millions of garments end up in landfills each year, many after just one wear.
More troubling is the human toll: garment workers in fast fashion supply chains often endure unsafe conditions, long hours, and wages that barely sustain them.
Why We Chose Another Path
Partnering with a B-Corp factory in Peru wasn’t a trend decision—it was a values decision.
These certified factories uphold high standards for ethics, accountability, and sustainability. Workers are paid fairly. Craftsmanship is respected. The process is transparent from cotton seed to final stitch.
We chose to invest in quality, not quantity. In long-term relationships over fast profits. In a slower, more intentional way of making things.
Fashion That Feels Good—In Every Way
When you wear something made from regenerative cotton, you’re not just putting on clothing—you’re wearing a movement. You’re choosing to support healthy soil, empowered communities, and a better future for fashion.
It may take longer. It may cost more. But it’s worth every step.
Because fashion shouldn’t just look good.
It should do good.
