Beautiful things. Better business. B Corp

Why B Corp Matters to us.

At found., we spend a lot of time looking beyond the finished product. We want to know where something came from, who made it, what it's made from, and what kind of company we're supporting when we choose to bring it into our store.

That's one reason we're drawn to B Corp-certified businesses.

If you're new to B Corp, here's an easy way to think about it:

Organic tells us something important about a product. B Corp tells us something important about the company behind it.

B Corp certification looks at the business as a whole, including its impact on workers, communities, the environment, customers and governance. It gives us another layer of confidence that the companies we support are willing to hold themselves accountable to meaningful social and environmental standards.

And we love seeing what that looks like across three very different categories we carry.

found. Cotton: starting with the fiber

Our Essential Tees begin with exceptionally beautiful organic, regenerative Peruvian Pima cotton. The cotton is grown using regenerative farming practices, and our tees are produced with a B Corp-certified textile partner in Peru.

For us, that's important because responsibility shouldn't begin at the sewing machine. It should start with the fiber itself and continue through the people and processes that turn it into a finished garment.

And we're not stopping with tees. Later this year, we'll be introducing our new Peruvian cotton poplin collection, bringing that same thoughtful approach to another everyday essential.

Cashmere: beautiful craft with a human story

Our newest arrival is the Fall 2026 women's cashmere collection from Danish brand CARE BY ME, which became B Corp certified in 2025.

What makes CARE BY ME particularly special is the connection between its beautiful cashmere and its commitment to creating opportunities for women artisans, particularly through its work in Nepal and India. Many of its pieces are handmade using traditional techniques, allowing skilled artisans to build livelihoods through their craft.

For us, that's exactly what responsible luxury can look like: exceptional materials, beautiful design and a business model that considers the people behind the product.

The new collection has just arrived at found.

Denim: accountability matters even more

Denim is one of those products that can look deceptively simple.

But behind a pair of jeans is a surprisingly resource-intensive process involving large amounts of water, energy, chemicals and dye. Traditional denim production and finishing can create significant environmental impacts, making the choices a denim company makes throughout its supply chain especially important.

That's why we're particularly interested in Outland Denim, whose parent company, Maeka Group, is B Corp certified.

Outland's mission goes beyond making better denim. The company has built its business around creating employment and training opportunities for people who have faced significant barriers to employment, particularly women, while also working to reduce the environmental impact of its production.

In a category with such a complicated environmental footprint, we think that kind of accountability matters.

Why we look for B Corps

B Corp doesn't mean a company is perfect, and it doesn't replace certifications such as organic or GOTS. It simply gives us another lens through which to look at the businesses we choose to support.

And that's really what we're trying to do at found.

Look a little closer. Ask better questions. Choose more thoughtfully.

Because conscious consumption isn't about giving up the things we love. It's about understanding what we're buying and choosing companies that are making an effort to do better—for their workers, their communities and the planet.

Beautiful things still matter. We just believe the story behind them should matter, too.

That's the kind of luxury we're looking for at found.
